Utah Suicide Mortality Research Study (USMRS)
Stewardship Materials

The Utah Suicide Mortality Research Study (USMRS) is funded by the University of Utah and managed by the Office of the Vice President for Research. The study, in partnership with the State of Utah's Office of the Medical Examiner (OME) and Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), is designed to reduce suicide mortality in the state of Utah.

Utah Department of Health and Human Services (UDHHS) has requested a temporary pause on the collection and use of biological samples associated with the Utah Suicide Mortality Research Study (USMRS). This pause will remain in effect while we work collaboratively with UDHHS to finalize a new data sharing agreement (DSA).
